Love love love the coffee here! Cappuccinos are rich, smooth and utterly satisfying. I had the chocolate chip banana bread and it was a great accompaniment to my cappuccino. Josh was very nice and the place is clean and just small enough to discourage the typical laptop-cafe-all-day- hangout-work crew crowd. I just wish they had longer hours.

It's been a coffee week for me, and here's what I love about this stop off the Ravina Metra: It's new. It's a special place. It's intimate with only a few seats along the window. It's only open until 2pm each day. It's neighborly. And, like Chris M says they serve Passion House roasted coffee...one of my favorite roasters BTW. I've been meaning to pay a visit to this new shop in Ravinia, and I'm so glad I finally made it in today. I drove up, ran into the the owner of the photography studio around the corner who was enjoying his coffee and Internet, and I met the delightful owner, Josh, who proudly mixed my vanilla latte right in front of me at the counter as I waited. It was delicious. For those who follow my vanilla latte reviews, this one is up there as a favorite. Whenever I find a latte that's flavorful without needed sweetener, it gets a big thumbs up. My hubby opted for the Americano, and it too was worth the many sips I stole. When I can't make it into Downtown Highland Park to my other favorite stop, I will be patronizing this place. Ravinia has a winner here, and the staff is lovely too! I didn't see the pastries, but I was focused on the coffee. You won't want to miss out on this one.

Love, love, love this place!!!! I am so fortunate to have this establishment right down the street from me. Not only are the drinks wonderful but Josh and Lisa are the greatest! Totally friendly, welcoming and kind to all of the patrons of their shop. Their cayenne and honey lattes are a must and my go to drink when it is cold out (it has just the right amount of heat and sweet) otherwise I go for their iced coffee which is amazing. If you are in the area or just want some excellent coffee make sure to stop by. Oh, I forgot to mention, if you are lucky you might catch some excellent live music which they sometimes have :)

Yay! What a fantastic addition to the wonderful and stylish neighborhood of Ravinia in Highland Park! We've needed a cool coffee shop for the locals and commuters for some time. Very small but quaint and hospitable. Delicious local roast small batch coffee, local fresh made bagels and pastries, free wifi, ***dog friendly ***(which George my adorable Yorkie loves!!), darts Super cafe.

Great cold brew coffee and awesome staff. I'm new to the area and was pleased to find a local coffee shop with great coffee. I will definitely be going back!

Exactly what Ravinia Metra stop needed!!! The coffee here is AMAZING!!! Seriously, I will go out of my way to come here and skip the Starbucks and Caribous of the world any day of the week!!! Coffee comes local and fresh from Passion House Coffee Roasters. Again, it blows away Starbucks and even Intelligentsia (which I enjoy both of these). I went with the Macchiato espresso and it put my mind and taste buds into overdrive for the rest of the day! Also had a bagel, which they serve from Once Upon (one of my favorites as well). I also noticed the pastries looked fantastic but since I'm savory not sweet I elected for the bagel. The decor looks modern but the feeling of the cafe is still cozy and relaxing. The staff is out of this world friendly!!! I had the pleasure of meeting Josh, who is incredibly personable and has a deep passion for what he is doing. When small business owners get excited, passionate and enthusiastic about what they do, it means the product that they serve is backed by the same emotions. I can honestly say that this is the case at the Ravinia Coffee station, and I am jealous as all hell for all the Ravinia-nites who get to enjoy a cup of heaven from this place on a daily basis b/c I will now have to make the trek out here often to get mine :-)

I can't believe how much this place improves my quality of life! The coffee is perfect (try the vanilla latte; it will ruin you for any other incarnation.) And, if that weren't enough, it's SO convenient (across from the Ravinia train station) and on a straight line for a walk to the breathtaking lakeshore, past lovely homes and gardens from a plethora of time periods. In short, if you haven't stopped by yet, do so. You'll be glad you did.

Is it the coffee? Is it the atmosphere? Is it the barista? I think it's all of the above. This is no nonsense coffee where you always feel welcome. Summer Sundays outdoor music draws a happy crowd as well. Great work Josh.

Seriously love this new coffee shop husband and I randomly discovered. Our lattes were perfection! Ravinia Coffee Station you now have two regulars. Now if we could only have you next door to our shop on Sheridan Rd. ;)

I promise you'll try it once and love the coffee. Josh and Lisa are wonderful owners! They understand the importance of roast and brew technique on coffee! Great coffee shop to swing by on your way to catch the train!

So fabulous! This place is such a gem. I seriously go here and feel like I made the right decision moving to highland park. The two people I always see working are top notch. They welcome my children with smiles. They are chatty and interested but not overly so. There's music on Sunday morning. The parking is always easy if I drive. The barista insists on getting my milk preferences right (coconut, almond, soy, regular.....need I say more?!). I have only tried the scone, which was just ok, but I'm more of a bread type person anyway. The iced coffee is seriously Delish!!!!! I hope this place stays open for years to come. I really plan on being a regular at this place. Love it!!! Thanks for making my transition from Evanston to HP a little easier :)

Delicious espresso! Visiting from out of town, so I tried this coffee shop. This is how espresso should taste.

Live down the road and this has been a wonderful addition to the neighborhood. Great product and convenience. Coffee alone was fantastic, but now I am hooked on the lattes as well. Check out this place!

I echo that this is a fine addition to the Ravinia Business District, especially for the commuter crowd in the mornings. Josh Weisbart, the proprietor and barista, is a welcoming soul who'll help get your morning off to a good start! So, drop in, say hello and grab a coffee for the road!

I never write reviews, but this place deserves one. Not only was it the best cappuccino i have had since Italy, Josh added my favorite honey, perfect amount, and had the best foam ever! I am so glad I ran out of milk this week. Service with a smile, and i love supporting local roasters.

Everything about the Ravinia Coffee Station is right! From the coffee to the smiling faces on both sides of the counter to the positive impact it has had on its neighborhood and the many many residents that stop by for a warm hello and a great cup of coffee. Know Josh that the positive impact you have had on your patrons is reaching far beyond your front steps.
